Senator Ede Dafinone has urged newly inaugurated leaders of the Okpe, Sapele, and Uvwie (OSU) Political Forum in Uvwie to begin strong grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during the inauguration at Alegbo Primary School in Uvwie, the lawmaker called on the executives to work tirelessly to secure support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
Dafinone expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would win in 2027, pointing to the economic reforms introduced by President Tinubu.
He noted that the removal of fuel subsidy and the unification of the exchange rate were bold steps taken to fix Nigeria’s struggling economy.
He described Tinubu as a well-prepared leader committed to rebuilding the country.
On Delta State, the senator praised Governor Oborevwori for delivering visible development projects, saying his performance justifies another term in office.
He urged party members to remain united and continue supporting the governor’s “M.O.R.E Agenda.”
Dafinone also commended the OSU Forum National Coordinator, Solomon Ighrakpata, for promoting unity within the constituency.
At the event, Ighrakpata officially inaugurated the Uvwie Chapter executives led by Anthony Ofoni, charging them to mobilize voters and ensure strong support for APC candidates in 2027.
In his response, Ofoni promised inclusive leadership and assured that his team would work across all wards in Uvwie to deliver victory for both the President and the Governor.
The event was attended by key political figures and stakeholders, including Efe Uko, Kingsley Esiso, Edafe Emakpor, James Augoye, Perkins Umukoro, and Evelyn Oboro, alongside youths and other party supporters.
