The Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area, Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, has called on the newly inaugurated ward executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the council to be proactive in strengthening the party at the grassroots.
Ogorugba gave the charge on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, during the inaugural meeting of the APC Ward Executives Committee held at the Local Government Secretariat in Ozoro.
The inauguration followed the successful ward congresses conducted across Isoko North, which produced the ward executives that will steer the affairs of the party at the grassroots level.
Addressing the executives, the council chairman stressed the need for unity, teamwork, and collaboration among party members. He said these values are essential for the party’s success and for achieving victory in the 2027 general elections.
Ogorugba also urged the ward executives to work closely with the Isoko North APC Chairman, Mr. Sunday Omonakome, to strengthen the party’s structure across the local government.
He expressed confidence in the “Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda” of Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and encouraged the executives to remain committed to the party’s goals.
According to him, their dedication will play a key role in ensuring the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori in 2027.
The event was attended by party leaders, stakeholders, and members from across Isoko North Local Government Area.
