The Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Ede Dafinone, has called on Nigerians to embrace forgiveness, unity, and compassion as Christians celebrate Easter.
In his Easter message released on April 5, 2026, the lawmaker described the season as a time for reflection, renewal, and hope.
He said Easter reminds Christians of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the victory of light over darkness.
Dafinone urged people across Delta State and the country to use the period to strengthen unity and show love to one another, especially at a time when the nation needs healing and progress.
According to him, Easter teaches important values such as faith, humility, sacrifice, and service.
He encouraged citizens to live by these values and contribute to building a peaceful and just society.
The senator also stressed the need for prayers for Nigeria, asking for wisdom for leaders and strength for citizens.
He expressed hope for a brighter future and called on everyone to play their part in achieving development and good governance.
He wished Christians a joyful Easter celebration filled with peace, love, and renewed hope.
