The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has carried out fresh airstrikes targeting terrorist hideouts in Borno State.
The operation took place in the Jilli area, where troops launched follow-up attacks on fleeing insurgents after an earlier successful mission.
The strikes were part of a joint effort between the Air Force and the Nigerian Army under Operation Hadin Kai.
According to Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the mission focused on eliminating remaining terrorist fighters who were trying to regroup and take advantage of the difficult terrain.
The latest action comes as security forces step up efforts to hunt down terrorists responsible for recent attacks on military personnel.
The Nigerian Air Force says it remains committed to protecting civilians through constant surveillance, precise strikes, and rapid response operations.
