Leaders and stakeholders of Owhe Clan in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State have unanimously endorsed the member representing Isoko North/Isoko South Federal Constituency, Rep. Pst. Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, for re-election in the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was announced during a grand reception held in his honour on Wednesday at Otibio Grammar School, Otor-Igho, where political leaders, community heads, and supporters from across the Isoko nation gathered in large numbers.
Speaking for the Owhe political class, Chief Sam Egwerome, Chief John Araka, and Dr. Patrick Akporuno stressed the need for continuity, citing Ukodhiko’s performance at the National Assembly and the importance of sustaining ongoing developmental projects within the constituency.
Also, President-General of Owhe Communities and Chairman of the Owhe PG Forum, Dr. Israel Adaigho, said the endorsement reflected the collective will of the people, noting that the lawmaker has shown commitment to inclusive representation and the welfare of his constituents.
Across the clan, ward representatives echoed the same position, with leaders from Otor-Owhe/Akiewhe, Owhelogbo, and Otibio wards declaring their full support for Ukodhiko’s second term bid.
The motion adopting the endorsement was moved and seconded by community Presidents-General and ratified through a voice vote, signaling overwhelming approval from stakeholders present.
Responding through Dr. Patrick Akporuno, the lawmaker expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to deepen his efforts in delivering effective representation and building on existing achievements if re-elected.
The event also drew prominent personalities, including political leaders, council officials, and members of the Owhe Presidents-General Forum, underscoring a strong, unified front within the clan ahead of the 2027 polls.
