The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has unveiled a new digital membership registration platform as part of its preparations for the 2027 General Elections.
In a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Honourable Muhammed MJG GKAF, the party called on members, support groups, and interested Nigerians across the 36 states and in the diaspora to immediately register on the new portal at adcregistration.ng.
According to the party, the online registration is necessary to comply with the Electoral Act 2026 and the guidelines of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), which require political parties to maintain a credible and verifiable digital membership register.
The ADC explained that only members whose details are fully captured and verified on the new digital platform will be eligible to vote or contest in the party’s primaries.
While manual registration will continue nationwide to accommodate grassroots members, the digital platform is designed to make registration easier, faster, and more transparent for Nigerians at home and abroad.
The party also urged those who registered on its previous digital platform to revalidate their membership on the new portal, noting that additional mandatory information is now required to meet legal standards.
Since the launch of its physical membership drive in February, the ADC said it has witnessed strong interest from Nigerians across the country and in the diaspora.
The party encouraged support groups, affiliated associations, and stakeholders to take advantage of the new system to properly align with its updated digital structure.
The ADC reaffirmed its commitment to building a modern and inclusive political movement, urging members to unite and strengthen the party ahead of 2027.
