The Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Olorogun Jaro Egbo, has affirmed the decision of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Leadership, regarding consensus candidates across all Ward in the local government area.
The Council chairman made this assertion during the party congress convened in his Ughelli Ward 1/5, where he participated as a delegate, emphasizing on the APC Constitution, which allows for either consensus or electioneering process.
Barrister Jaro Egbo also expressed his satisfaction with the successful and peaceful congress held across the local government area, asserting that it signifies a unified commitment to the party’s development and the re-election of President Bola Almed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in 2027.
Responding to newsmen on youth inclusiveness ahead of the general election, he maintained that, several youths are managers in different firm, while others are engaged meaningfully in their various endeavour, as he passed a message of hope on youths impact on successful Congress.
Highlights of the Congress, was the motion of dissolution of APC Ward 1/5 Executives by Hon. Eshanomi Onome and seconded by Mrs Queen Obruku Onome, while party reaffirmed the newly elected party executives, as Comrade Peter Odokuma emerged the new All Progressive Congress (APC) Ward Chairman of Ughelli Ward 1/5.
