Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has sent Easter greetings to Christians, encouraging them to remain strong in their faith and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.
In a message shared by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor described Easter as a time of hope, sacrifice, and new beginnings.
He said the celebration reminds believers of the victory of life over death through the resurrection of Christ.
Oborevwori urged Christians to live by the values of love, humility, patience, and selflessness, noting that these virtues are key to building a peaceful and united society.
He also called on Nigerians to use the season to pray for peace, progress, and unity in the country, while celebrating responsibly and showing kindness to others.
The governor assured residents that his administration remains committed to improving their welfare and making life better for all.
