The Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Area on Friday joined other top leaders and traditional rulers to celebrate the 7th coronation anniversary of Samuel Ayegherese Otidi, the Odio-Ologbo of Okpolo-Ewhe Kingdom.
The event attracted several prominent dignitaries, including Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District; Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, member representing Isoko Federal Constituency; Emonena Victor Wayles Egukawhore, Chairman of De Wayles Group of Companies; and Ferguson Ajiroghene Onwo, member representing Isoko South Constituency II in the Delta State House of Assembly.
Many traditional rulers from across Isoko nation also attended the ceremony to honour the monarch’s seven years on the throne.
During the celebration, the Odio-Ologbo conferred chieftaincy titles on deserving individuals. A major highlight was the conferment of the title Okobaro of Okpolo (Enhwe) Kingdom on High Chief Emonena Victor Wayles Egukawhore, in recognition of his significant contributions to infrastructural development in the Enhwe Kingdom.
The anniversary ceremony was marked by cultural displays, goodwill messages, and prayers for continued peace and progress in the kingdom.
