The Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area, Godwin Ogorugba, has approved the use of the council secretariat in Ozoro for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr prayers.
The approval came on Monday, March 17, 2026, during a courtesy visit by leaders of the local Muslim community as Ramadan continues.
Speaking for the delegation, Bob Oviemuno praised Ogorugba for promoting peace, inclusivity, and religious tolerance in the area.
He assured that the Muslim community would continue to encourage its members to be law-abiding and contribute positively to the development of Isoko North.
Chairman Ogorugba congratulated the faithful on the spiritual significance of Ramadan and thanked the leaders for maintaining discipline.
He reiterated his commitment to unity, peace, and harmony, and gladly granted their request to use the secretariat for the Eid celebration.
Other dignitaries at the meeting included Hon. Pascal Emeluaha, Comrade Joshua Alebe, Mrs. Irene Onwodi, HRM Queen Fejiro Ogbogbo, and other senior council officials.
