The Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government, Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, on Monday, March 2, 2026, laid the foundation for the construction of 10 lock-up shops and four toilet facilities in Otor-Igho Community.
The project is part of his administration’s efforts to improve infrastructure and support local businesses across the council area.
According to the chairman, the new shops and toilet facilities will create economic opportunities, improve sanitation, and increase revenue for the local government.
Hon. Ogorugba said the initiative aligns with his vision to raise the standard of living in Isoko North and supports the MORE Agenda of Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori. He stressed that development must reach the grassroots and directly benefit the people.
He expressed confidence that the project will be completed within three months and will positively impact residents of Otor-Igho.
The chairman also directed contractors handling the Okpe-Isoko Market project, the Isi-Emevor Health Centre, and repairs on failed sections of the Ozoro/Owhelogbo Road to return to their sites immediately.
He reaffirmed his commitment to delivering meaningful projects across all 13 wards of Isoko North Local Government Area.
