Olomoro Kingdom was filled with excitement on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, as a new traditional ruler was officially installed in a colourful and peaceful ceremony.
The coronation took place at the Olomoro Palace, where the Odhe of the Kingdom, Oletu Peter Dimaro, carried out the traditional rites and presented His Royal Majesty, Abraham A. Agboro, as the new Odiologbo of Olomoro Kingdom.
In keeping with tradition, the Odion-Ologbo also gave authority to his son, Barrister Chief Daniel A. Agboro, to represent him when necessary.
The event marked an important moment for the kingdom, signaling a new phase of leadership, unity, and continuity.
Many respected chiefs, leaders, and community members attended the ceremony.
Among them were High Chief Lawrence Eduje, the Clan Otota; High Chief Reuben Ifowodo, the Osugba; and several other prominent chiefs and stakeholders, including the President General of Olomoro Development Union, Chief Anthony Ukpagba, along with his executive team.
The large turnout showed the strong unity and pride of the Olomoro people.
The ceremony was well-organized and peaceful, reflecting the rich culture and traditions of the kingdom.
With the new monarch now on the throne, the people of Olomoro are hopeful for peace, growth, and development in the community.
