A veteran journalist and immediate past President General (PG), of Ibruvwe Oil and Gas Producing community Kokori, Ethiope East LGA, comrade Ukane Godwin Edafe has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR for the renewal of the Pipeline Contract to the Chairman of Tantita Security Service, High Chief Government Ekpemukpolo popularly known by his people as Tompolo to again handle the contract for more development of the Niger Delta Region.
Comrade Ukane Godwin Edafe who made this commendation in Ughelli, Ughelli North LGA, of Delta State, while speaking to newsmen described the initiative as a welcome development.
He said, “the renewal of the Pipeline Contract to High Chief Tompolo is a quare ped in a square hole, adding that, over the years when the contract was in the hand of Tompolo a lot of development have been recorded in the area of peace and harmony for the Niger Delta Area that devoid of pipeline vandalizism, illegal refinery and other diabolic act capable of disrupting our Oil pipeline”
Comrade Ukane also hinted that with this renewal of the pipeline contract to High Chief Tompolo, he will brings out his best, including the workers in the line so as to work hard to ensure total security of the area for more effective protection of our Oil facilities for development.
The veteran journalist however, assured President Bola Tinubu over the renewal of the pipeline contract to Tompolo that he (Tompolo), will not disappoint the confidence reposed in him by President Tinubu. Comrade Ukane assured.
He called on the people of the Niger Delta Region to continue to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration for more dividends of democracy.
